The journey begins with a scenic drive to the Annapurna region for the beautiful Ghandruk–Landruk Trek. These charming Gurung villages offer spectacular views of Mt. Annapurna South, Mt. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, enjoy spectacular aerial views of the Himalayas (weather permitting), including Mt. Dorje Lakpa (6,966 m), Mt. Ganesh Himal (7,422 m), Mt. Purbi Chhyachu (6,637 m), Mt. Langtang (7,227 m), and many other snow-capped peaks.

After completing immigration, customs, and collecting your luggage, our representative from The Crampon for Nepal Travel will warmly welcome you outside the arrival terminal and transfer you to your hotel. Hotel check-in begins at 2:00 PM.

Kathmandu, the vibrant capital of Nepal, is a fascinating blend of ancient heritage and modern city life. Today, visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Nepal’s most remarkable historical landmarks. Once the royal palace of the Malla and Shah Kings, this ancient palace complex showcases magnificent temples, traditional courtyards, and impressive Newari architecture.

Explore Hanuman Dhoka Palace, named after the statue of the Hindu Monkey God, Hanuman, which stands at the main entrance. This historic palace served as the residence of Nepal’s kings for centuries and was the venue where many monarchs were crowned.
You will also visit the Kumari Ghar, home of the Living Goddess Kumari. If you are fortunate, you may catch a glimpse of the Kumari as she appears briefly at her balcony to greet visitors. The square offers a fascinating insight into Nepal’s rich history, culture, art, and religious traditions.

Then after we will visit Patan Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the historic city of Lalitpur, also known as the City of Fine Arts. Renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship in metal, stone, and wood, Patan is one of Nepal’s oldest and most culturally rich cities.
Explore the beautifully preserved royal palace complex, featuring the magnificent Golden Gate, intricately carved windows, and elegant courtyards. Visit the famous Krishna Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna, the sacred Golden Temple (Hiranya Varna Mahavihar), and several ancient Buddhist monasteries that reflect the harmonious blend of Hindu and Buddhist traditions. After an early breakfast, begin your scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara along the Prithvi Highway, one of Nepal’s most picturesque highways. The journey follows the winding Trishuli and Marshyangdi Rivers, offering ever-changing views of lush green hills, terraced farmland, traditional villages, waterfalls, and dense forests.

Along the way, you’ll pass through bustling roadside towns, local markets, and charming rural settlements, providing a glimpse into the everyday life and diverse culture of Nepal. After breakfast, leave Pokhara and enjoy a scenic drive by jeep to Kande, the starting point of your trek. The drive follows a winding mountain road through beautiful countryside, offering views of terraced hillsides, traditional villages, lush forests, and, on clear days, magnificent panoramas of the Annapurna mountain range.

Upon reaching Kande, begin your trek through rhododendron and oak forests, passing small settlements and stone-paved trails. The peaceful surroundings and fresh mountain air make for an enjoyable introduction to trekking in the Annapurna region.
Continue to Australian Camp, a popular viewpoint offering spectacular views of Annapurna South (7,219 m), Hiunchuli (6,441 m), Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) (6,993 m), and Lamjung Himal (6,983 m). After a short rest, continue on a gentle trail through beautiful forest to the traditional Gurung village of Pothana.

Pothana is a charming mountain village located within the Annapurna Conservation Area. Surrounded by lush forests and panoramic Himalayan scenery, it is an ideal place to experience the peaceful atmosphere of the Himalayas and the warm hospitality of the local people.

After breakfast, begin your trek from the peaceful village of Pothana, following a scenic trail through dense rhododendron, oak, and bamboo forests within the Annapurna Conservation Area. The trail offers fresh mountain air, the sounds of birds, and occasional openings that reveal magnificent views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) mountain ranges.

Continue to Deurali, a popular viewpoint where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramas of Annapurna South (7,219 m), Hiunchuli (6,441 m), Machhapuchhre (6,993 m), and the surrounding Himalayan peaks. From here, the trail gradually descends through beautiful forests and traditional villages, passing terraced fields and farmland cultivated by the local Gurung and Magar communities.

As you approach Landruk, one of the largest and most picturesque Gurung villages in the Annapurna region, you will be rewarded with spectacular views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli rising above the Modi Khola Valley. The village offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the traditional lifestyle, culture, and warm hospitality of the local people while enjoying the peaceful mountain surroundings.

After breakfast, leave the beautiful Gurung village of Landruk and descend to the Modi Khola, crossing a suspension bridge before beginning a gradual uphill climb through terraced fields, forests, and traditional settlements. The trail offers beautiful views of the surrounding hills, cultivated farmland, and the flowing river below.
As you gain elevation, enjoy spectacular views of Annapurna South (7,219 m), Hiunchuli (6,441 m), and the iconic Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) (6,993 m). Along the way, you will pass small villages where you can observe the daily life, culture, and hospitality of the local Gurung community.

Arrive at Ghandruk, one of the largest and most picturesque Gurung villages in the Annapurna region. Famous for its traditional stone houses, narrow alleyways, and rich cultural heritage, Ghandruk offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna massif. You may also visit the Gurung Museum to learn about the history, culture, and traditions of the local people.

Spend the evening exploring the village and enjoying the peaceful mountain atmosphere before an overnight stay at a tea house in Ghandruk.

After breakfast, bid farewell to the beautiful Gurung village of Ghandruk and begin your scenic jeep drive back to Pokhara. The off-road section from Ghandruk passes through charming rural settlements before joining the main highway. Along the way, enjoy the changing landscapes, local village life, rivers, and lush green hills that make this region one of Nepal’s most scenic destinations.

Upon arrival in Pokhara, check in to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to relax or explore the vibrant Lakeside area. The drive follows the Prithvi Highway, passing through picturesque river valleys, terraced farmlands, traditional villages, and lush green hills. Depending on traffic and road conditions, the drive from Bandipur to Kathmandu takes approximately 5 to 6 hours.

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, continue towards the ancient city of Bhaktapur, located about 13 kilometers east of the capital. The drive takes around 30 to 45 minutes. Bhaktapur, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Nepal and is famous for its rich Newari culture, magnificent temples, traditional brick houses, exquisite wood carvings, and vibrant local lifestyle.

Explore the magnificent Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the Palace of 55 Windows, the Golden Gate, Nyatapola Temple, Bhairavnath Temple, Dattatreya Square, Pottery Square, and the lively local markets. Visitors can also enjoy tasting the famous “Juju Dhau” (King Curd), a traditional Newari delicacy.
